HISTORY:
Kozia Gora was in the possession of the family Podewils from the fourteenth century and belonged to them up till first half of the twentieth century. Podewilsowie , at the time of the Duchy of Western - Pomeranian , were closely associated with the ducal court in Szczecin. Adam Podewils rode with a message to King Kazimierz Jagielonczyk asking for the hand of Princess Anne for Boguslaw X , and Peter Podewils was accompanied by a prince in an expedition to the Holy Land . Since 1740, Kozia Gora estates and Malanowo were merged in 1818 . These good took Heinrich Friederich Podewils and in Kozia Gora built a great foundation court with new outbuildings and gardens/park.
Kozia Gora before World War II was in possesion of the Countess Jadwiga ( Hedwig ) Podewils Ponińska de domo who died and was buried in Kozia Gora in 1936 . Until 1945, the owners of Kozia Gora were von Waldowie . After the war Soviet troops stationed here.
The palace of the eighteenth / nineteenth century . Built in Baroque style , rebuilt in the late nineteenth century in neo-Gothic style in brick, in typical forms of Gothic romance with decorative cloisters , towers and balconies. The richest elevation is southern wing of the palace. There are statues of knights and coats of arms . The cubic capacity of the building is 7800 m3 , on 3 floors. The Granary was built at the same time as palace in the mid-sixteenth century . Underwent renovations and remodeling.
The palace and park complex is located on three plots of land . On two parcels 6ha /60.000 m2 / , there is a palace and huge outbuildings, surrounded on three sides by the park ( 4ha ) The third plot of 2.1ha serves as pasture and there are no buildings. This plot is adjacent to the road route Gdańsk Szczecin - Berlin. Through the park a river Mlynowka flows which is a tributary of the River Parsęta.. On the border of the park from the north -west are the ruins of a former mill court , where it is possible to run a small hydroelectric plant . The park is overgrown, great coniferous and deciduous trees , and among them , there are exotic trees.

The palace and the buildings creates former courtyard in the shape of a rectangle. Square courtyard is paved. It is ideal layout to create a courtyard entrance, garden, recreation facilities, fountain etc.
